BOSS PW-10 V-Wah |
Download PW-10's manual now:
It comes in 5 ZIP volumes, each volume containing approximately 9 JPEG pictures. I tried to make a PDF using these scans, but the result was more than 3Mb and the pics' quality f*cked up. So I simply put all the scans here.
Pages 1-8 (533k)
Pages 9-17 (496k)
Pages 18-26 (524k)
Pages 27-35 (510k)
Pages 36-44 (469k)
And here's a brief manual in PDF. It's only on one sheet, and it's like a brief instruction for 'experienced' users:
Brief instruction (51k, zipped PDF)
V-Wah Review
1) Some preliminary words
2) Technical features
3) My impressions and some notes
Sound samples
Here are the samples from review on onstagemag.com:
There are some samples on official BOSS site, but they are rather large, so I won't put 'em here right now. Maybe later. You always can get them at BOSS's. And I think it's better to hear samples from review, not the 'official' ones, you know.
Photos
These are not my photos. Some of them are from a BOSS company site. Others are from somewhere on the net (I don't remember exactly, maybe someone was selling the WAH..). Looks cool, eh?
The first photos with a blue background are taken from the flash animation file (a link to the file is below). So instead of viewing them you can simply download the flash.

Some info about V-Wah could be obtained from the following files:
Micromedia Flash animation file that shows V-Wah and contains some of its sounds (453K).
A MOV movie file about the pedal (933K).
Also, there are two PDF pages from BOSS catalog (?) with some info about V-Wah. The zip is 232K.
If you're interested in BOSS products, be sure to check my BOSS catalog in Crap section. In fact, it's kind of copy (surely, it's been changed strongly:)) of the printed catalog that was included with the V-Wah. The following fact seems interesting for me: there's no single word about V-Wah itself in the catalog.
